If you found a channel that uploads inappropriate content and you want to report it for the safety of the users. The reporting channel is not right, but safety comes first.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to reporting a youtube channel

  1. Open Youtube.com and log-in to your account.
  2. Search a channel you want to report
  3. Once you find it, click on it.
  4. Click on the “…” tab, below the channel’s cover image.
  5. Click the “Report” icon.
  6. Press the “Report User” option.
  7.  Select the main reason for reporting channel
  8. Click the “Next” button.
  9. After picking up a reason, you’ll see a form. Fill it
  10. After filling the form, the URL of that channel comes in the bottom bar.
  11. Click the “Continue” button.

How to Report YouTube  Video On Computer

Sometimes you want to report a video instead of the channel

Here’s a method to report a video

  1. Go to YouTube’s home page.
  2. Search the video you want to report and press on it
  3. The “Three Dots” appears beneath the player, click on it.
  4. Select the “Report” option from the menu.
  5. The “Report video” will appear.
  6. Choose the reason why you’re reporting the video and press next.
  7. Provide additional information.
  8. Click the “Next” button.

How to Report YouTube Video on Mobile

  1. Open youtube app
  2. Search a video you want to report
  3. When it starts playing, tap it once more to toggle the menu.
  4. Tap the “Report” option.
  5. Report a Video and pick a reason for reporting
  6. Tap the “Report” button.
  7. Provide additional info.
  8. Tap “Report.”

Youtube is enough to filter out an inappropriate channel and video, but it’s up to the user to guard others.
